Our Strategy
Legal problems are complex and solutions of legal problems require skill, hard work with a systematic approach, organized and coordinated efforts. One thing in my legal career, I found missing in many of the cases handled even by experienced advocates is — Legal Strategy. Legal Strategy is not taught in law degrees’ curriculum. It is developed over a period of time. It cannot be written precisely what the legal strategy is. It varies from case to case, forum to forum and time to time. In litigation, even a slight mistake can damage the good legal case, so a legal case requires a well woven strategy to turn a legal dispute/difference into a winning story. Strategy cannot be explained, so we explain herewith the elements of our strategy to win a legal case. We work on the principle of AAS. AAS is a Hindi word for HOPE. Analysis
Dr. Ashok and Associates tells the client to come prepared with all the facts, documents and necessary details. We prepare a write up of legal case. Then, we analyse the whole case. Our best brains come together to find the gaps and work to make the legal case a good one to defend and protect the claims, rights, interests of our client. Analysis of the legal case to minimise the cost, time effectiveness and speedy solution is essential to deliver results to our clients.
Approach
Approach A legal case after analysis is further studied with legal provisions and principles and the whole case is seen with the background of relevant case laws. Here experience also plays a great role. Our experienced team finally plans how to take up the case and choose the best path and sometimes, takes simultaneous action in various courts/forums. We strive to handle each case with great care and responsiveness to give best results to our clients.

PROFILE OF THE FOUNDER OF THE FIRM:
Dr. Ashok and Associates is established by Dr. Siddhartha Priya Ashok. Dr. S. P. Ashok is a multi-facets personality. He is an Advocate, Activist, Poet, Writer and Social Worker. Dr. Ashok has resigned as Deputy Chief Legal Adviser from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) and has more than two decades’ experience in the field of the Contract Law, Arbitration, Oil and Gas Laws, Safety Laws, Labour Laws, Civil Matters, Criminal Matters, Service Matters, Property Matters, etc. Now, he practises as an Advocate, Arbitrator and Mediator. He is empanelled Arbitrator of Bombay High Court and also empanelled advocate, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC).
Dr. Ashok has deep understanding and knowledge of law. He acquired the degree of B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering), M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication), LL.B., LL.M. (Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology), Diploma in Taxation Law, PG Diploma (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Basic Course on IP from WIPO, a Course “Arbitration and Mediation Procedure under WIPO Rules”, Geneva, Switzerland and Ph. D. (Law) from University of Mumbai.
He writes poetries and articles. His Articles have been published in various Magazines/Journals. He has presented his papers and delivered lectures in various colleges and programmes.
Dr. Ashok has deep commitment for social works and activities. He is Founder Secretary of National Educational Social and Traditional Knowledge (NEST) Foundation. NEST Foundation has Consultative Status with United Nations, Permanent Observer Status in World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), Partnership with PMNCH of WHO, and signed MOUs with United Nations Resource Centre (UNRC), and also working with UN Online Volunteering Services. He has been invited to World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), Geneva, Switzerland in the year 2011 and 2015 by WIPO in connection with issues of traditional knowledge. He is also Chairman and Executive Director of MDA Education and Development Foundation (Section 8 Company).
